Cardboard Shelving System
Designed and installed in just one week for LightArt, this modular shelving system rethinks temporary storage through recyclable materials, precision fabrication, and a clean knock-down assembly built for adaptability and reuse.
This shelving system was designed, built, and installed in just one week for LightArt as a simple, affordable, and environmentally conscious alternative to traditional shelving. Each unit is composed of two cores, six shelves, and two drawers, arranged to optimize storage while maintaining a clean, minimal design.
Made from Hexacomb Falconboard and precisely cut with a Zünd, the components slot together without the need for glue. The units are fastened with aluminum cup-point set screws and joint connector nuts, providing both stability and the flexibility for future expansion.
