Pila explores how small everyday objects can feel intentional and elevated, using recycled PET felt, solid White Oak, and subtle ergonomic details to create a cleaner, more tactile tabletop experience.
Designed in a focused 15-minute sprint, Pila elevates the simple table coaster with a minimal aesthetic, honest materials, and ergonomic functionality. Machined from solid White Oak, its base doubles as an elegant storage solution, keeping coasters neatly organized when not in use.
The coasters themselves are crafted from durable PET felt, a sustainable material made from recycled water bottles. Each coaster features a 45-degree beveled edge, offering both a clean visual separation when stacked and an easy grip for everyday use.
